In partnership with Boulcott Hospital and Rangatira Investments, the $25m two operating theatre expansion and redevelopment of Lower Hutt’s only private hospital will greatly enhance surgical services in the Wellington region.
Last week, Minister of Health Hon. Simeon Brown MP and Hon. Christopher Bishop Hutt South MP officially opened our new theatre wing at Boulcott Hospital in Lower Hutt.
Boulcott Hospital is uniquely positioned. A leading private hospital co-located with the public hospital and surrounded by complementary healthcare facilities – including the Vital-owned Hutt Valley Health Hub. Significant health precincts like this one underpin Vital’s vision for healthcare infrastructure across New Zealand.
Together with Vital’s ownership of the adjacent properties, this latest investment at Boulcott has brought our total investment in Lower Hutt to over $100m.
