Vital has partnered with Avive Health, Australia’s newest, integrated private mental health services business, on a new 25-year lease.

The 60-bed private hospital will address the current under-servicing of mental health treatment, both within the immediate catchment and in Australia more broadly.

The hospital features a boutique hotel-like environment with 60 single patient rooms with ensuites across two 30 bed wings together with group and art therapy rooms, psychiatrists’ consulting suites, a dedicated fitness studio and gymnasium, as well as beautifully landscaped outdoor retreat areas.

Following a Welcome to Country by Aboriginal elder, Aunty Deb on Bunurong Country, staff, doctors, project partners, and the community celebrated the opening.

We’re extremely proud to have developed this premium mental health facility by repurposing an existing aged care asset – demonstrating our commitment to sustainability.
