Minister of Health the Hon Simeon Brown officially opened stage 2 of the redevelopment of Wakefield Hospital in Wellington on 13 February 2025 with Evolution’s Chair Simon Pickering, Group CEO Simon Keating, the Hospital’s CEO Michael Quirke, General Manager Carole Kaffes, with other representatives from Evolution’s shareholders, staff and board also in attendance.

This key Vital asset, operated by Evolution Healthcare, is valued at over $180m.
