Grace Hospital – Stage 1

Grace Hospital was acquired by Vital in December 2020 and is the only private inpatient hospital in Tauranga. It is now a 51-bed, 9 operating theatre and 2 procedure room facility along with on site radiology and consulting services.

Grace Hospital, purpose built in 2007, provides a range of surgical services including orthopaedics, cardiology, cosmetic surgery, urology and others.

Expansion of the hospital has been underway since 2020 and is being delivered in stages. At completion of the final stage of this ~$37m development in mid-2026, Grace Hospital will become a 61-bed facility.
