Kawarau Park Health Hub

The Kawarau Health Precinct is a purpose-built, multi-building specialist medical hub designed to deliver integrated and comprehensive healthcare services.

At the centre of the precinct is an acute care hospital, operated as a joint venture between Southern Cross and the Central Lakes Trust. The hospital includes three operating theatres and 13 inpatient beds.

Complementing the hospital are key tenants such as The Doctors Whakatipu, Pacific Radiology, Unichem Pharmacy, eight specialist consulting suites, a childcare centre, convenience store, and an on-site café/restaurant. Together, these services provide integrated, high-quality care for the local community and position the precinct as a leading healthcare destination for the wider region.
