Royston Hospital

Royston Hospital comprises a single-level hospital facility and a two-level consulting centre, originally established in 1931. Following significant upgrades, the hospital now features five operating theatres and one dedicated endoscopy procedure room.

In 2022, a standalone Orthopaedic Day Surgery Unit was completed, offering two operating theatres, four recovery beds, and six second-stage recovery bays.

The unit is operated as a joint venture between Evolution Healthcare and leading orthopaedic surgeons from the Hawke’s Bay region.
