Building on strong foundations

Vital has made significant progress towards our sustainability commitments, with many initiatives now embedded in our day-to-day operations.

Detailed information on our sustainability activities, performance and progress in 2025 and prior years are set out in our Annual Reports and Climate-Related Disclosures.

Our commitment to delivering meaningful sustainability outcomes remains unchanged. The principles, targets and responsibilities that have guided our approach to sustainability continue to influence how we operate as owners of essential healthcare real estate and sustainability remains integral to long-term value creation for our Unit Holders.

Following our recent internalisation, Vital is taking the opportunity to review and refine our sustainability strategy to ensure it remains focused, credible and aligned with our evolving operating model and stakeholder expectations. Our current ESG framework, established more than three years ago, has provided a strong foundation and this work is intended to build on that foundation rather than replace it.

Our attention now turns to confirming future priorities and developing a refreshed sustainability plan that supports the next phase of delivery. While this work progresses, we have streamlined our sustainability webpages. We look forward to sharing our evolved sustainability strategy in 2026.

Acknowledgement of Country

Vital acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia, especially the lands on which we live and work and recognises their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.

We also acknowledge the Rangatiratanga of Māori as Tangata Whenua and Treaty of Waitangi partners in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We pay our respects to all First Nations peoples and to Elders past, present and emerging.
